- Because you want to know what Munday Morning feels like too.
- Because you’ve also been telling your friends “hey, we should get together sometime” for six months.
- Because karting and paintball… well, been there, done that.
- Because you’ve always dreamt of seeing your mates roll in the mud.
- Because you would not event stand one day of military.
- Because sore muscles are worth it.
- Because your friends are going to do it, with or without you.
Even if you think you’re not ready yet, you can always come with your friends and cheer them on when tackling the obstacles. The Mud Day’s also a big party in a friendly atmosphere!
« Mud Guy: noun, m/f.
A person who participates in The Mud Day. Neologism derived from the successful homonymous event.”
Le Petit Grobert, 2014 edition
It’s a moment of blissful clarity on Monday morning. Clarity which comes from the fact that you did something cooler than your mates. You come to work with a spring in your step, a smirk on your face and looking forward to one thing alone: the moment when your colleagues ask how you spent the weekend.
The Mud Day’s a challenge designed to push your mind and body to the limit. You really should train and get in good shape. However, if once on the course you balk at certain obstacles, we’ll let you skip them… so you’ve got challenges left for next year!
A Mudviette is the sort of friend who says “I don’t really feel like participating, that ice bath must be chilly!” or “Rolling in the mud is for kids”, or perhaps “I can’t come because Johnny’s giving a concert on Saturday evening”. You’ve got to work hard to take part in The Mud Day. Rain, wind or snow, Mud Guys stand up and are counted, paying little heed to whatever Mudviettes say. Mudviettes often end up changing their minds next year anyway, after hearing about their friends’ epic exploits.
The Mud Day is unique event in France. The Mud Day is the guarantee of a real course. No plastic slides, no recycled skateboard ramps, no foam obstacles. The Mud Day challenge revolves around obstacles our team has taken time to design, build, test, redesign, rebuild and retest. You bet “Got Biceps” and “Underworld” are going to leave a mark in your memories and in your muscles. The Mud Day’s a special event. The Mud Day will give you goosebumps before it even starts, it’ll make you want to scream and shout with the Mud Guys in your wave, it’ll push you to the brink of giving up during the course and it’ll make you smile at the end.
