WHAT'S THE MUD DAY?
The Mud Day, an extreme event unlike anything you’ve seen before, will put your mind and body to the test.
The Mud Day is a challenge about 13 kilometres long strewn with over 20 obstacles based on assault courses. It’s all about water, electricity, ice, and, most importantly, mud and glory.
Is 13km too much for you ? Relax ! The Mud Day offers you the possibility to do half the distance as well : 7km and 11 obstacles.
The Mud Day is something you can do solo, but you’ll be glad to have a Mud Team at your side when facing the toughest obstacles.
The Mud Day is a gruelling challenge: the aim is not to set a good time, but to find your limits… and smash them to bits.
Should you pull it off and manage to clear all the obstacles in style, there’ll be a Mud Beer and a Mudal waiting for you at the finish and you’ll get to experience the sweet bliss of Munday Morning.
The 13 km course of The Mud Day will make you face 22 obstacles, a variety of endeavours and lots of thrills.
It’s designed to test all of the Mud Guys’ skills. The obstacles won’t just put your stamina through its paces, but also:
- Team spirit
- Fun spirit (we’re not just a bunch of hooligans, after all)
Each edition will set you against The Mud Day’s iconic obstacles: get ready to tackle “Crawling Time”, “Got Biceps?” and “Ice Crime”. Every single time, The Mud Day will have surprises and extraordinary obstacles in store for you!
Go to the event pages to get the details on the course of the different events.
The Village is where the brotherhood of Mud Guys meets before and after the event. This is where the Mud Guys set off in waves… and the place where the same Mud Guys, with nothing left in the tank, stumble across the finish line a few hours later!
Everyone gets together before the event to pick up the Mud Packs, leave their bags at the left luggage room and warm up. They all meet again afterwards to share a beer, take a shower and munch on a burger while telling their war stories.
Specifically, the Village is:
- Warm-up sessions: warming up at The Mud Day’s much more than just a warm-up, it’s an experience. It’s said that, last year, a warm-up took a turn for the weird and the coach attempted to launch a stage diving expedition.
- Food court: any effort deserved a reward. Burgers, hot dogs, pasta and other delights: you’ll be spoilt for choice!
- The Arena: an area in the heart of the Village where Mud Guys and spectators can try their hands at a series of activities (tug of war, sumo bouts…)
